OUR EYE CARE SERVICES

Amblyopia, also called "lazy eye", is a condition where the vision doesn't develop properly. The brain starts to rely more and more on one eye (stronger eye) while vision deteriorates in the other. Early detection and treatment are crucial, especially during infancy and childhood, to prevent permanent loss of vision.

Vision Therapy and Brain Injury

Vision Therapy can be very effective in the treatment of visual problems related to neurological conditions and traumatic brain injuries. Each vision therapy program is tailored to each patient and their specific needs.

Scleral Lenses

Scleral Lenses

Scleral contact lenses help optimize visual acuity and offer comfort for dry eyes, irregular corneas and hard-to-fit eyes. They are also very helpful for keratoconus, astigmatism and other eye conditions.

Amblyopia, commonly referred to as Lazy Eye, occurs when the brain and the eye are not working in unison, resulting in decreased vision in an eye that otherwise seems healthy. The only treatment available which treats the amblyopia and not just the symptoms is Vision Therapy, also known as Development Optometry.

An eye emergency occurs any time you have a foreign object or chemicals in your eye, or when an injury or burn affects your eye area. Visit us for treatment of red eyes, pink eye, sore eyes, foreign body removal and any eye emergencies.

Orthokeratology, commonly known as ortho-k, is a nonsurgical alternative to LASIK surgery. It consists on a specific type of rigid gas-permeable contact lens is worn at night to gently and temporarily reshape the cornea.

Myopia Management

While there’s no cure for Myopia, there are some treatments which may slow down its progression in children and young teens. This is called Myopia Management.

A comprehensive eye exam is more than an eye test for updating a prescription. Using the latest technology, your eye doctor will go beyond assessing just your visual acuity. The exam includes testing for common eye diseases, as well as an evaluation of your retina, optical nerves, and retina blood vessels.
